I first met the Flaig family around Christmas time in 2022 for their holiday poinsettia session. Jordan was still in mommy’s tummy. I got to meet him for the first time, this year, in February for his big sister's playdough session and then I got to really spend some time with him for their family session! Can I just point out this family's eyes? They are all so beautiful! And their color pallet... such a dream. I am obsessed!  

I cannot express how happy it makes me when I get to capture the growth of families. From a family of 3 to a family of 4, I have enjoyed every session with this family. They are always so joyful and kind to one another. Such an inspiration to witness. Even though every family session comes with its challenges like cute little Natalie being shy, we all worked together to get the most precious photos of her even though she wasn’t 100% on board. 

Teamwork makes the dream work and Kaelynn and Tyler definitely have strong teamwork! They make parenting look effortless. Though we all know it is not, they handle it with such grace and love. It is such a joy to capture!  

Kaelynn wanted to go with a timeless white set, and I was so excited to create both a childhood version for two ages and a family version for their session. I’ve said it before, I love creating photos that are timeless. I do not want to create dated photos that will be out of style years down the road. I want my clients to be able to display and cherish their photos for a lifetime. A timeless white set is one of my favorite studio sets to create for this reason.  

Dear Kaelynn and Tyler, 

I am sure you hear this all of the time, but you have such beautiful children. It is an honor every time I get them in front of my camera! I am so inspired by the way you two parent and love each other. Thank you so much for entrusting me to continue to capture the special seasons of your lives. I cannot wait to get you all back in front of my camera again!
