Family sessions are guided, relaxed, and centered around connection rather than perfection. I’ll gently direct your family while leaving room for natural interaction, movement, and real moments to unfold — especially for young children who thrive when they’re free to be themselves. Sessions are paced intentionally to keep things calm and enjoyable. There’s no pressure for everyone to look at the camera at once or for children to sit still the entire time. Instead, we focus on capturing your family’s genuine connection in a way that feels natural and stress-free. This approach allows me to best serve families while creating an experience that feels supportive, unrushed, and positive for both parents and children.

I photograph family sessions in timeless, true-to-life color so your images feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today. My goal is for you to recognize yourselves in your photos — the laughter, the connection, the season of life you’re in right now — and to relive those moments every time you look back on them.

After your session, you’ll receive a curated gallery where you get to choose the images you love most. Rather than overwhelming you with hundreds of photos, this process allows you to select the moments that truly matter to your family. You walk away with images you’re excited about — and none that don’t feel like you.

If you’ve ever felt nervous about family photos — especially with young children — you’re not alone. I guide each session in a way that feels natural and supportive, offering direction without forcing stiff or uncomfortable poses. Children are encouraged to move, interact, and be themselves, while parents are gently guided so everyone feels comfortable, confident, and at ease. You will also receive a link to my style guide as soon as you book your session. It is designed to guide you through all of the before session details. And I am always an email away if you have any questions.

When you invest in a session with me, you also have access to professional-quality print products through a trusted professional lab. This ensures your images are printed with care, accuracy, and longevity. Your session includes a print release, giving you the flexibility to print your images where you choose — while still having the option to invest in heirloom-quality products if you’d like.

DETAILS
BOOKING & PAYMENT
- A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date
- A signed contract is required for all sessions
TRAVEL
- Travel within 10 miles of Helena is included
- Additional travel is billed at $0.25 per mile
- Lodging fees may apply for sessions requiring overnight travel
OTHER
- Family sessions with 5 or more people may have an additional charge per person
