I absolutely love the speech portion of wedding days! While I do spend time getting to know all of my brides and grooms there is no better way to get to know them than through the people that love them the most. I always learn something new about them and during speeches and Jadyn and Dylan’s wedding was no exception. From learning how passionate Jadyn gets and how contagious that passion is to how supportive Dylan is to his loved ones, I learned so many incredible things about these two that I never would have known without speeches from their best friends and siblings. Dylan’s brother was not able to attend the wedding because he is serving our country, but he did send his speech to one of Dylan’s best friends to read on behalf of him and I have to say that it was one of the most heartfelt and funny speeches I’ve heard. I am so happy that, even though he wasn’t there in person, his words were able to be heard.

While there isn’t a whole lot to capture during speeches the same cannot be said for the rest of the day. I absolutely fell in love with the details of Jadyn and Dylan’s wedding. From Jadyn’s bouquet to the cake and the colors, everything was so beautiful.

I was so excited when I walked into Jadyn’s getting ready room and saw that everyone had matching pj sets! I knew exactly what we had to do and to make things even better, one of her bridesmaids had confetti. I mean I would have settled for flower petals but once I found out about the confetti a dream of mine came true. I have been dying to get a matching pj photo with all of the girls on the bed throwing confetti in celebration of the big day ahead. And we did just that! I cannot wait to do it again.

During Jadyn and Dylan’s first look it was such a fun detail to learn that Dylan actually picked out Jadyn’s wedding dress. He didn’t know but it was the one she ended up going with. And I have to say that they both have amazing taste because that dress was made for her. It was like looking at the happiest princess in the world. Jadyn’s smile and bubbly attitude was such a joy to be around all day. She was living her best life and I couldn’t be happier to have been there to capture it.
